We can't praise Stewart enough. Once contacted, Stewart made himself available to come to our property for chat about our design needs. It didn't take us long to decide that we wanted him to carry out our designs and he came back around to take full dimensions just before we went on our summer holidays. Whilst we were away, Stewart completed the design and we were able to agree by email and get the whole thing submitted whilst away! Stewart always kept us updated with regards communicating with the planning office and we soon learnt that we would have to make some modifications due to the distance from a neighbouring property. Once we agreed a compromise, Stewart turned over the new design within 24 hours and this was re-submitted. The planning was approved and we then instructed Stewart to go ahead with Building Control drawings which again were issued without any fuss nor delay. The drawings were subsequently passed subject to calculations required for structural beams/lintels. Again, Stewart was able to provide a contact of a structural engineer who was reasonable in terms of cost. Everything was finally signed off without any difficulties arising. We have already recommended Stewart a friend and would continue to do so for anyone needing similar work in the future.
