The Journey with Daking Designs
Each project is different from the last so we always advise getting in touch to discuss yours.
Once you have instructed Daking Designs to act on your behalf to gain Planning and or Building Regulations there are 4 simple stages.
Stage 1
Survey
We visit your property to undertake a measured survey, evening and weekend appointments are available
stage 2
Design / Planning Application
We produce existing and proposed drawings for your project within 7 days. As soon as the drawings are finalised we will prepare all required documentation and forms ready for submission to the Local Authority and act as your agent during the application period.
STAGE 3
Building Regulations
Once Planning Permission is granted, we will be ready to proceed in the production of your Building Regulation drawings. These are detailed construction drawings along with a detailed specification which are submitted to building control for approval. We will liaise with Building Control until approval has been issued.
stage 4
Handover
When the plans have been approved by Building Control, Daking Designs will send you two copies of the plans along with the approval certificates and relevant documentation. You can now start to gain quotation from builders for your project. If required we can seek quotations on your behalf as part of our tender process package.
